What do you mainly want to use the Yakun for?
More for trekking & sports:
In this case, we recommend a model with derailleur gears, which are lightweight. Derailleur gears require regular maintenance and are subject to higher wear and tear, but are also less expensive and can be adjusted more precisely and thus adapted to your individual riding preferences.
More for everyday life & leisure:
Then we recommend a Yakun with hub gears. This requires less maintenance and wear and is easier to operate, but is somewhat more expensive and heavier.

Which features are important to you?
Think carefully about which safety features make the most sense for you.
The Yakun, for example, offers versatile lighting features from high beam to standard lighting. This depends on where and when you are mainly out and about.
For maximum safety on any terrain, we recommend the model with ABS, of course.

Total permissible weight
If you value a high load capacity, models with a robust design and stronger components are particularly suitable. The R5, R5 Pro, R5 Pro ABS and X12 models are designed for a total permissible weight of up to 150 kg, while the other models offer a maximum load capacity of 130 kg. This higher load capacity is not only relevant for transporting loads, but also for cyclists who want stable and reliable performance in a variety of conditions.
