At the heart of the SINUS AS is the Pinion E-Drive System – next-generation e-bike tech combining a powerful motor with a 9-speed gearbox and electronic automatic shifting, all housed in the innovative Pinion MGU (Motor Gearbox Unit).

It's tough, durable, and nearly maintenance-free. Built on a proven gearbox technology refined over more than a decade, this is the future of e-bike drivetrains.
 The unit forms the centrepiece of a completely new drive system for e-bikes. Unlike traditional systems, the MGU offers highly reliable shifting and handles the demands of e-bike motors with ease. Paired with an 800 Wh battery, it delivers hours of riding pleasure.

Low maintenance, high reliability

Thanks to its long-lasting belt drive and enclosed gearbox, the SINUS AS is impressively low-maintenance. The high-quality Gates belt replaces the traditional chain and can go for up to 10,000 kilometres – no oiling, no tightening, no hassle.

The right height, every time

The spring-loaded, dropper seat post can be adjusted at the touch of a button on the handlebars – giving you added comfort on uneven terrain and a safer stance when stopping. Sit comfortably, ride in control – and put both feet down with confidence at every stop.

Clear view, both day and night

The Litemove front light offers up to 210 lux brightness with high beam functionality – for brilliant visibility after dark and strong presence in daylight. It lights a width of 11 metres and a range of up to 300 metres, complete with low beam mode.

Strong, stable and ready for anything

Built for a total load of up to 180 kg, the SINUS AS is impressively robust – ideal for riders over 100 kg or transporting heavy loads. The tough MIK HD rear rack supports up to 27 kg, while premium DT Swiss wheels deliver both safety and ride comfort.

Click on and go

The front rack clicks into place quickly and securely with the KLICKfix system – perfect for small bags or a quick trip to the shops. Internal cable routing in the stem keeps everything neat and tidy, with zero cable clutter.

Brake light, car-style

The integrated LED rear light includes a sensor-activated brake light, making your braking visible to others. The StopTech feature alerts traffic early to your braking – boosting safety in road traffic, especially at night.

Thoughtfully designed, down to the last detail

The belt is protected by an integrated chainstay guard – keeping out dirt and acting as a built-in mudguard. The frame does not have an opening for the belt, which eases servicing and increases overall stability.

Confident braking, every time

The powerful Magura four-piston brakes deliver dependable stopping power on all terrain – even when fully loaded. Perfectly tuned to handle the increased system weight of the SINUS AS.

Charging made easy

A practical pull tab allows you to remove the battery quickly and easily – no fiddling required. Or charge it directly on the bike via the conveniently placed frame-mounted port.

Automatic shifting makes cycling noticeably smoother, quieter and more relaxed – so you can focus on what really matters: the joy of riding.

The Pinion Auto.Shift technology on the SINUS AS constantly selects the perfect gear and keeps your cadence steady, whether you’re climbing, coasting or cruising.
 Even when stopping, it automatically shifts to the ideal starting gear. The system is controlled via the ergonomic Remote E-Shift switch and the easy-to-read Comfort Display L.

Not only does this significantly enhance riding comfort, but it also boosts range, conserves battery power, protects components and noticeably reduces wear and tear. Want to shift manually? You can at any time – even under load. But once you've experienced the ease of auto-shift, you won’t want to go back.
